ECO Window Systems Construction in Ontario, CA | Hampton Contractors
We provide independent ECO Window Systems service across Ontario, from the older stucco tracts off Euclid and Vineyard to the newer subdivisions ringing the 60, and we also serve homeowners looking for ECO Window Systems in Upland. The one thing that makes our ECO work different here is that we’ve spent years diagnosing how these vinyl frames, glass packs and seals actually behave through Inland Valley heat cycles and Santa Ana wind seasons. We’re not a factory shop, and we don’t sell whatever the manufacturer wants us to push. When you need ECO windows repaired, retrofitted or replaced in Ontario, call us at (833) 467-4075 for a straight answer and a free estimate.
Why Ontario Residents Choose Us for ECO Window Systems Service
Most window companies in Ontario can sell you a window. Very few can tell you why a south-facing ECO double-hung starts binding in August or why the seal on a patio slider failed after five summers, and then fix exactly that. Our owner, Brent Calloway, has been working construction in the High Desert since he was eighteen, learning framing and finish carpentry at Victor Valley College before building a reputation for straight talk and showing up when he says he will. That’s the same standard we bring to every ECO Window Systems sales & service job. We carry OEM sashes, balances and latches, keep custom-cut insulated glass available for fast local turnaround, and we’ll tell you plainly when a frame is worth saving versus when replacement is the honest answer. One contractor, one project, and no mystery about whose parts are going into your wall.

Common ECO Window Systems Construction Problems We Solve in Ontario
These are the failures we see most often on ECO products in this city and in neighboring communities like Rancho Cucamonga, and they almost always trace back to Ontario’s specific climate and housing stock:
- Vinyl frame and sash warping on south and west elevations. Ontario routinely tops 100°F through July and August, and that repeated thermal cycling softens and bows vinyl frames. The result is sashes that bind mid-track, locks that miss the strike plate, and air gaps that open up between sash and frame. We re-square openings, reset hardware, and replace sashes that have moved past adjustment.
- Fogged or failed dual-pane insulated glass units. Sealant breakdown and desiccant saturation leave a hazy film between panes that never wipes clean. Ontario’s wide daily temperature swings accelerate that failure. We measure the existing sash, custom-cut replacement glass, and swap the IGU without replacing the whole frame when the frame is still sound.
- Failed perimeter caulking and weather seals. Santa Ana winds drive dust and grit into stucco reveals, and that grit works on caulk like sandpaper. Once the perimeter seal fails, wind, dust and water get behind the flange and into the wall cavity. We remove the old caulk, clean the reveal, and re-seal with materials rated for inland heat and wind.
- Sticking or broken sash balances and tilt-latch pins. Heat-cycling combined with grit buildup in the tracks wears out balances and tilt hardware faster in Ontario than in coastal cities. Sash drops, won’t stay up, or won’t tilt in for cleaning. We replace balances and latches with OEM parts where available.
- Sliding patio door rollers that grind and drag. Dust blown by Santa Ana winds gets into the bottom track, where rollers chew through it and eventually seize. The door gets heavy, then won’t move at all. We strip the door panel, replace rollers and track caps, and re-align the door so it slides without sounding like a cement mixer.
ECO Window Systems Service in Ontario: What Local Conditions Mean for Your Equipment
Here’s something you won’t read on a generic window page or a factory brochure. Ontario’s core tract homes, the 1950s through 1970s single-story stucco builds in the 91761, 91762 and 91764 ZIPs, sit on slab foundations over shrink-swell clay soil. That clay expands and contracts with moisture through Ontario’s hot, dry seasons, and the slabs move with it. The wall framing moves too. So when an ECO vinyl frame starts leaking air or water around the perimeter, the failure often began at the stucco reveal, not inside the window itself. The reveal cracks when the wall shifts, the caulk line pulls away from the stucco, and then the wind does the rest. We saw exactly this on a 1960s tract home off the older core near 91762, where the west elevation had bowed sashes and fogged glass. We pulled the units, re-squared the rough openings, reset the flashing and caulk line into the cracked reveal, replaced the failed glass on the sound frames, and swapped two sashes that had warped past adjustment. The homeowner got windows that open, latch and seal again. If you’re in an older Ontario neighborhood and your ECO windows are failing around the edges, the window might not be the only problem. Call (833) 467-4075 and we’ll diagnose the whole opening.
ECO Window Systems Models & Products We Service in Ontario
We work on the full ECO Window Systems residential line: vinyl single-hung and double-hung replacement windows, vinyl sliding glass doors and patio doors, retrofit inserts for stucco-finished openings, and vinyl picture and specialty-shape windows. Our parts approach is simple. When a frame is sound, we use OEM ECO sashes, balances, latches and hardware. When OEM lead times would leave an opening exposed for weeks, we use quality aftermarket hardware or custom-cut insulated glass measured to the exact sash. And when a frame is cracked, warped past adjustment, or the wall opening itself is failing, we say so. Replacement beats patching in those cases, and we won’t sell you a repair that won’t hold.

FAQs – ECO Window Systems Construction in Ontario
Usually not. Ontario’s summer heat cycles cause vinyl frames and sashes to expand and bow, especially on south- and west-facing walls. The fix is often re-squaring the opening, adjusting hinges and lock strike plates, and replacing only the sashes that have warped past adjustment. If we find cracks in the vinyl or mechanical damage, we’ll tell you. Call (833) 467-4075 and we’ll tell you which side of that line you’re on.
The insulated glass unit, the two panes with gas and desiccant between them, has failed. The perimeter seal broke down, moisture got inside, and the desiccant inside the frame can’t absorb any more. The only real fix is replacing the IGU. We measure the existing sash and custom-cut a fresh unit, then swap it into the frame if the frame is still sound. Call (833) 467-4075 for a glass replacement quote.
Yes, and in Ontario this is one of our most common repairs. Santa Ana winds push dust and grit into the stucco reveal, which erodes caulk over time and breaks the perimeter seal. We remove the old bead, clean the gap, repair stucco cracks at the reveal, and re-seal with material rated for inland temperature swings. If the wall opening itself is moving, we’ll find that too and tell you what’s actually going on behind the stucco.
We install them here and we’re seeing more Ontario homeowners request them, partly for storm-driven debris and partly for security and noise reduction along the freeway corridors. Impact-rated ECO replacements start around $8,000 and run up based on the opening count and glass rating. We’ll walk you through what your specific elevation actually needs before we quote it. Call (833) 467-4075 for a free estimate.
We fix it more often than we replace it. Ontario’s dust gets into the bottom track, the rollers chew through the grit, and the door starts grinding. We strip the door panel, replace the rollers and track caps, clean and re-align the track, and the door usually slides like it did the day it was installed. If the frame has shifted from slab movement or the glass has failed, then we’ll quote replacement instead. Call (833) 467-4075 and we’ll give you the honest answer on site.
